-This first assignment was to first get into the hang of how the coding in this class wil go. We had already learned a little bit about coding in the class we took before this which was basically the same exact thing as this assignment.
-This assignment was very similar to the first hobbies page. It was getting know a lot of the basics we'd already learned, so it was very simple. The assignment was just about creating a very simple webpage to understand tags like the paragraph and comment tags.
-This assignment was about some extra features somneone could add to their HTML to improve it more. This assignment made us learn about things such as the div element, adding attributes, semantic elements, and using special characters. This was a very simple assignment to get used to using those tags later on.
-This assignment was abotu getting started with CSS. CSS would be very helpful as it would alllow more customization within the webpages we've been creating. Some of the style rules that we went over in this were background color, text align, among other as well as learning how to make and external stylesheet.
-This assignment worked a little bit different compared to the previous ones. This assignment took up less time than the others since it was just editing a CSS page for an already built HTML webpage. This meant that the assignment wasn't all that difficult to complete.
This assignment was about using CSS to learn to align certain parts of the webpage to a specific spot. Soem of the new CSS rules learned in this unit were float, padding, margin, width, borders, among many others. This unit has two webpages because of this was the first one that required multiple webpages. This was also the unit where we first used lorem ipsum.
This assignment along with the next one was also different because we followed along a video instead of the book we were provided with. This was just going a few more HTML and CSS rules that we had or hadn't already learned yet. It was still a very simple assignment.
This assignment, along with the previous one, followed along a video instead of the book. This one had to be started completely from scratch though. This vidoe was more over CSS rather than HTML. It wasn't all that bad considering we'd learned most of it already.
This assignment was about changing the format of text. We learned how to use different fonts and font families, how to change the font size, how to italicize and bold text, among multiple other things. This wasnt just all about text though, as we also learned how to style psuedo elements and specify colors. Overall, it wasn't any major new CSS rules, but they were still very helpful.
This assignment was abotu understanding how to add and use links on webpage. There are two different types of links, relative links, which are links to take someone to a different page on the same website, and absolute links, which are to links to send someone to a completely different website. This was helpful especially here to link to all of the unit on this page.
This assignment was the firsst assignment where we started to use images. We also learned about multiple CSS rules that are able to style images. This would end up being very helpful as images are a large part of multiple webpages. This assignment wasn't all too bad but it was very helpful.
This assignment was about keeping content orgainzed with lists and tables. We also learned using an ordered list to make a navigation bar. This assignment was nice because this webpage is currently using a list to keep all of the assignments organized.
This assignment was all about implementing responive design to a webpage. Responsive design is just about making sure that your webpage looks nice and perfect for multiple different screens and devices. We used stuff such as adaptive content, responsive navigation, different screen layouts, among multiple other things.
This assignment was similar to the other independent challenge previous to this one, where it was mostly about editing an already built webpage with CSS. All the assignment was though was changing a few things on the webpage so it would change depending on the width of the screen.
This assignment was about creating web forms. This was one of the only things in this class I did not know how to do yet. The form we were required to do needed textboxes, checkboxes, option buttons, and drop-down menus. This assignment was a little annoying because it was the assignment that required the most amount of typing.
This assignment was just about following a video to make the webpage. This looked easy, but the video was 1 hour long, which made this assignment more difficult. It was just going over everything we'd learned from the class.
